Well, we were at the CERN store after lunch today and noticed a large group of reporters gathering across the street at the Globe...
and guess who came out?! Tom Hanks, Ayelet Zurer, and Ron Howard!!!
How cool is that! Ayelet Zurer looked really pretty, Ron Howard was wearing a CERN hat, and I just got to see Tom Hanks!
A bientôt!

Alison: Actually, CERN's Angels and Demons FAQ is a great example of the lab making lemons out of lemonade. The black holes were not handled quite so well, at least not at first.
Stephanie: I just got a cheap US/LHC blog entry out of, basically, linking to this entry. Feel free to mock me.
Oops, I mean lemonade out of lemons -- whichever one is good, anyway.
Hey that's awesome! I also found Angles and Demons very entertaining. very. cool.
Seth, you are right. It is actually really informative for dumb blondes who only took high school level physics (F=MA!) -- and they answer their question colloquially, which is also good. I guess that is good PR for CERN?
